The Moderate Right Who Can't Say One Bad Word About The Obama Who Sold His Grandmother...

the other day, would seem to have very weak family values. Quoting Christopher Hitchens:"You often hear it said, of some political or other opportunist, that he would sell his own grandmother if it would suit his interests. But you seldom, if ever, see this notorious transaction actually being performed, which is why I am slightly surprised that Obama got away with it so easily. (Yet why do I say I am surprised? He still gets away with absolutely everything.) Looking for a moral equivalent to a professional demagogue who thinks that AIDS and drugs are the result of a conspiracy by the white man, Obama settled on an 85-year-old lady named Madelyn Dunham, who spent a good deal of her youth helping to raise him and who now lives alone and unwell in a condo in Honolulu." [found here:The Hitch on Obama-Wright, with thanks to Sailer ] Obama is not your future, but Madelyne Dunham, alone, ill and vilified before the tens and the hundreds of millions, is what may be expected to eventuate for those who would 'adopt' the 'transcendent' opportunist.
When Hitchens says "looking for a moral equivalent" what is really referred to is a search for a way to say everybody does it. 'Everybody does it, why can't we' is not a moral argument, but a way of avoiding moral censure and moral thought altogether. Obama sounds like a brazen amoralist; his confidence is not that of someone who believes he is good , but the shamelessness of one who considers himself protected from criticism, by some special privilege.
Here should be mentioned what all the self-righteous are in fear of speaking or observing:
It seems that no one will express the least surprise that mixed-race descendants have no concern for the well-being of their elders, and would opportunistically exploit and damage them without remorse. If this surprises literally no one, or none with a public voice at least, doesn't this also tell you that your future in the pro-diversity regime is to be that of Madelyn Dunham, and not that of Obama?

HSB,

This is good ol', mean ol' Miles....

As I have stated before, Soros and the Establishment have funded Obammy for the past year or two. He is the handpicked fall guy to McCain. Im literally so cynical now to think the elite would create such a straw man with their money. In a way, the elite have been able to shepard the Democratic party so far to the left as to make it entirely undigestable to the majority of white citizens. They have divided us almost perfectly as we move towards a de facto corporate aristocracy.

If you do some digging on the net, and find out who controls the controlling shares in this or that broadcast news television network and newspaper syndicates.........its pretty easy to see that our news cycle is controlled quite entirely by the establishment. The news is where people get their information and where their attitudes are shaped by beautific news-readers who look and dress and comport themselves the way most Americans wished they could be. The newsreaders have been singing Obammy's praises since the last election when he was given the keynote speakers spot (which should have been a big hint to all of us) at the Democratic National Convention.

If you think about it, the establishment and former member William F. Buckley in particular have allowed the neocons to become "the conservative" establishment and have the Sean Hannity/ORielly/Liddy bully pulpits to espouse it using every cajoling mental brainwashing tactic imaginable at their disposal. If you listen to these guys, you will note they they psychologically make one feel like a traitor for not backing ninety-nine percent of what the admin does, except illegal immigration. They know that wont be popular, so they dont mess with it---yet. Ten years from now they might be giving you the same open-market BS arguments in favor for it and question your patriotism if you are against it.

Obammy is a jerk who wouldn't even be a player in the game if he were white. I guarantee you he pretty much despises white people and identifies with his dad 100% over his loony mamma (whom he was probably pretty ashamed of secretly. I mean come on, a woman who allows herself to be mistreated and shuns men of her own "kind" isn't going to garner much respect from her son). I have found in my personal dealings that the black people who really hate whites the most are usually part white or light brown in appearance. Dark blacks figure we whites are just another race, but brown-blacks usually have much more complicated feelings towards us. Obama, like most boys, identifies with his dad despite his dad's numerous faults. I have a cousin, a talented-fuck up, who despite his talents idolizes his militia-type-dad and gets in trouble with the law, recreationally uses drugs, owns guns that he shouldn't legally be possessing, and generally makes a rebellious "statement" nuisance of himself everywhere he goes. His professional mother who has been a success is definetely second on his list of affection. Boys identify with their dads.

I still feel Obama would be able to do less damage than McCain could however. Obama is much less likely to launch a war against Iran unless the Iranians really were getting close to having not only a nuke, but the means to deliver it. McCain will strum up a reason to attack them. Obama is much more likely to listen to black people in the United States who don't want every decent factory job shipped to China and who dont want to be overwhelmed by the 100-plus million people in Mexico. He is much more likely to be "stuck" being somewhat pro-white because what is good for blacks in this nation is also good for whites in many circumstances. Juan McCain, the steroid-Bush-from-hell, wont be in any way constrained by any of the above and I look for him to launch fights against the conservative base from day one. I personally will either not vote, vote for some third party with no chance, or will hold my nose and my stomach and vote democrat.

Hillary, the pathetic liar (GAWD, did you see the last one she got caught in? Dead to right like the rat she is) would be my favorite choice left among the big three left. I wish Pat Buchannan had the resources. If I had 150 million bucks, and felt Pat need 100 million to make a good run at it, I swear I'd give him 100 million to do so. I want to see the neo-cons go down in flames. We need a media revolution on the right. We need for the American Conservative and Chronicles and Takimag.com to replace National Review, The Weekly Standard, and NRO. We also need a broadcast network. Lou Dobbs and Jack Cafferty cant do it all alone. In short, we need to chase the neo-cons back to the democratic party so we still have a party to vote for.

Metaphorical brilliance, JSB. Great post, followed by great commentary.

Thank you AE and Joe. Miles, you're right that the right-wing outlets need to shift out of this one-world let's prove we're not prejudiced pattern. The paleo sites were the only ones who could say 'one bad word about Obama' as I said in the post heading. That is until the last week, and the moderate right appears to be actually waiting for liberals to give them the signal that it's OK to go negative on any black man. If one wants to just celebrate how wonderful everything is, why put any effort into writing about political subjects, when any number of drinking establishments are open.

Further, what happened was that the media and other leading elements were able to promote their leftmost favorites. Hillary and Obama are the leftmost in the Senate, and McCain is the leftmost among the republicans there.
There is negligible chance of this outcome arising by coincidence, it had to be pushed quite hard, and a lot of it was the strictness of the major media news blackout on alternative candidates. I'm still hoping for McCain to get disqualified, so that there can be choice greater than just left and lefter.
