The Social Lamarckians Are Not Extinct
Quoting Ayn Rand: "...the notion that men can be conditioned to communism genetically-- that is, that a few generations conditioned by dictatorship will transmit communist ideology to their descendants, who will be communists at birth." Human identity does not change, though; even Russian, Chinese and several religious, identities persisted through several generations of ruthless communist rule. The point about a Social Lamarckism is that there are still those who believe in the inheritance of acquired characteristics, and that such can be induced politically, so as to equalize various groups, or whatever the purported ideal excusing power of that kind may be.
